the EUChinaGRID Procedure for new sites

Step 1: Site managers at candidate site have to contact the EUChinaGrid Operation Center (please send an email to Enrico Fattibene) describing their hardware resources.

Step 2: If the request has been accepted, the site manager has to subscribe to the wp3 mailing list, and to the EUChinaGrid ticketing system. If you have to install a new site, please refer to the official gLite installation guide.

Step 3: After installation, the EUChinaGrid Operation Center adds the site to the BDII, creates a new support department in the ticketing system and set the new site administrators as staff.

Step 4: The EUChinaGrid Operations Centre staff performs some tests in the new site and if everything works the site is certified and considered part of the EUChinaGrid Pilot Infrastructure.
